Crimson Moon Faces Down Demonic Corruption Starting September 1
Team up with a friend and take the fight to hell itself in two-player online co-op.

We first pulled back the curtain on Crimson Moon earlier this year — a dark, renaissance-inspired action RPG that casts you as a Nephilim, a half-human, half-angel warrior on a mission to free the ruined city of Gildenarch from the demonic forces overtaking it.
Now the wait is almost over: Crimson Moon arrives on PlayStation 5 on September 1.
We’ve spent the last few months showing off the game’s punishing melee combat, its replayable hunts, and its unforgiving boss fights. This time, we’re turning the spotlight on something we think makes the experience even better: two-player online co-op.
Hunting is better with backup
Crimson Moon can be played entirely solo, but every hunt also supports two-player online co-op for players who’d rather face Gildenarch’s horrors with a partner.
Co-op here isn’t just about doubling your damage output. Each encounter scales dynamically depending on whether you’re playing alone or with a partner, so the difficulty stays sharp no matter how you approach it.
Partners also share a single pool of health across the hunt. Go down, and your ally can bring you back — but every fall pushes the team closer to defeat. It’s this tension that creates some of our favorite moments: a last-second revive right as a boss shifts into its final phase, a narrow win pulled out of nowhere, or watching a partner who got a little too cocky pay the price.
From syncing up Weapon Arts to mixing different builds to simply standing side by side against a towering enemy, co-op brings a whole extra dimension of strategy and teamwork to every hunt.
Optimized for PlayStation 5
Crimson Moon has been built with PlayStation 5 in mind from the start. On PS5 Pro, the game natively supports enhanced PSSR, sharpening the visuals as you fight your way through Gildenarch’s blood-drenched streets and the nightmares hiding within them.
Two ways to play
Our aim throughout development has been to build an action RPG loaded with replay value, rewarding progression, and standout co-op — all at a fair price.
Crimson Moon will launch at $19.99, with a Crimson Moon: Deluxe Edition available for $29.99.
The Deluxe Edition comes with the Ceremonial Armor Set, the Axe of the Gods (a guitar-shaped weapon fit for any Nephilim of legend), and access to the game’s forthcoming Post-Launch Content Expansion.
Players who start with the Standard Edition and want to upgrade later can do so through the Crimson Moon: Deluxe Edition Upgrade, priced at $10, which unlocks all Deluxe content.
And as a thank-you to PlayStation players, everyone who picks up Crimson Moon — Standard or Deluxe — will get the exclusive Sonai Magistrate Armor Set free at launch.
Gildenarch awaits
From your first steps through Sanctus Clypeus to your ultimate showdown with the Dead Gods, every hunt in Crimson Moon offers a chance to uncover new gear, test out fresh builds, and push further into the city’s ever-more-dangerous Wards. Round up your allies — the hunt kicks off September 1.
